Not good news... Obama supports government subsidies for ethanol production and opposes the importation of sugar cane-based ethanol from Brazil. A cheaper and more efficient product, cane-based ethanol gets 8 units of energy for every 1 unit it takes to produce it, compared to corn which has a 2 to 1 ratio. Read it and weep, lefties:
