Presto Chango: What do you reuse?

Recycling is great, but reusing is even better. Reusing extends an object's lifespan which means less resources are wasted on producing new objects and less waste ends up in a landfill.

Here are a few things that I reuse:

old towels --> rags
bread bags --> produce savers
hummus containers --> leftover storage
egg cartons --> bring back to farmer (so he can reuse!)
ziploc bags --> wash and use again
rubber bands
twist ties

Everyone has their reuse magic tricks. We want to hear some of yours!

Hi. Thanks for this important thought. We reuse packaging from products we receive for our own shipping and we are making our way through packaging from gift my wife and I got for our wedding...the overpackaging was absurd so we are trying to do the best we can to reuse it.

thanks!

Ah, yes. Packaging! Thanks, Todd. It's great for reusing.

We received a lot of submissions to the Eco-Film Forum in padded envelopes. I just ripped the labels off and saved them for later. Saves money, too.
